Data deletion instructions

These instructions concern records held by Rounds.News and its private YouTube publisher. They do not delete your Google, YouTube, Instagram or other platform account.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Website preferences

Use your browser's site-data controls to clear cookies and local storage for rounds.news and www.rounds.news. This resets the edition, appearance, layout and last-visit preferences described in website privacy. It does not remove request logs held by hosting or external image providers.

Ask Rounds.News to delete stored data

Message @rounds.news on Instagram with the subject Data deletion request. Identify the public channel or account handle, the desktop tool or website interaction involved, and which records you want removed. A public URL is sufficient to identify an affected post. Do not send passwords, tokens, authorization codes or unnecessary identity documents.

The operator will confirm control of the relevant account or another appropriate basis for the request without asking for secret credentials. Requests are handled by the operator, not an automated deletion form.

Connected YouTube publisher

You can stop future Google access by removing Rounds News Desktop Publisher in Google's third-party connections. The channel operator must also stop the local publishing job and remove the affected stored credentials, API metadata and performance data, including relevant exports and copies.

Our policy is to complete a publisher-data deletion request as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. The operator will confirm completion or explain any specific legal restriction. The installation currently relies on operator-assisted cleanup; revoking Google access does not automatically wipe local files.

Deleting local records does not delete published videos. Manage those separately in YouTube Studio. Read the publisher privacy policy for storage, retention and the difference between original production files and Google API data.

Other records and services

For a Rounds.News contact record, identify the conversation and request removal of any unnecessary operator-held copy. Editorial corrections may require a limited record explaining what changed. The operator will explain any records that must be retained rather than silently treating the request as complete.

Social platforms, payment services, hosting providers and original news publishers control their own records. A request to Rounds.News does not revoke access or erase data held by those services. These instructions are an information page, not a Meta deletion callback or a confirmation that a platform app setting has been configured.
